Four or five black-clad and masked men raided Tuesday, May 15th at the Diemerhof in Diemen a courier DHL. Police have released photos.
The courier did around 11.00 deliver a number of crates with Rolex watches at a company located there, when the perpetrators suddenly appeared and threatened to shoot him if he did not remain calm. The perpetrators then took off with the loot into a waiting Volkswagen Transporter. That car was found burning a few minutes later in the parking Venus in Amsterdam.
On the surveillance video you can see that the perpetrators of the parking spaces in a white BMW 3serie. This car is Thursday, May 17th, two days after the robbery, found burnt out in Zaandam. The BMW was fitted with stolen license plates with license plate 35-RLB-7. The original sign shows 56-ZS-JJ to be and that car is 5 or May 6 stolen from the Da Costa Kade in Amsterdam.
The Volkswagen Transporter that was used to attack on the DHL courier was probably also used in a burglary at a business premises on the Amsterdam Sumatrakade in the early morning of Monday, February 20th. Two of the four perpetrators then fled in a dark Volkswagen Transporter. Witnesses have seen that Transporter also the license plate 56-VJR-5 had, like the Transporter on the surveillance video in Diemen. It appears to be a counterfeit license plate of an Opel Vivaro which otherwise has nothing to do with these issues.
In business burglary at the Sumatrakade was seen another car. Two of the perpetrators fled in the Transporter but it has been seen that the other two in a gray Audi RS4 left with the registration number 96-XT-GJ. And the Audi RS4 is three days later on February 23 was again involved in a cracking thud in Leiden.
It’s about four or five black-clad perpetrators of whom one is slightly plumper than the others.
