The Replica TAG Heuer watches for new Monza Calibre 36 Automatic Re-edition chronograph watch will be published in a limited edition of only 1,911 numbered copies and officially goes on sale in June 2011.
The reason the watch is limited to 1911 pieces is quite simple.
It was in 1911 that the Swiss watchmaker Heuer has published his famous travel time of 12 hours dashboard chronograph, which was designed specifically for cars and airplanes.
So it is easier to measure time in the air (or behind the wheel), the device was very popular among drivers and conductors.
The new TAG Heuer Monza Calibre 36 Re-Edition is an almost exact copy of the original Heuer Monza Chronograph which was introduced in 1933.
If you compare the photos above and below, you will notice that there are many differences between the two.
Of course, the new model is not a monopusher (powered by caliber 36 automatic movement, is equipped with a standard pair of chronograph pushers located at 2 and 4 pm) and the crown of the new configuration is also much more smaller than the original onion-shaped work.
