The new Chopard Jacky Ickx V Edition Chronograph Automatic Watch will be issued as a limited edition model that is going to be available either in stainless steel, or in much more expensive (but also much more imposing) gold body increased.
This is the fifth time that the Swiss watch manufacturer updates its 24 Hours Le Mans, Jacky Ickx inspired chronograph watch.
While in terms of internal hardware remains virtually the same (the only major difference is that its automatic gauge loading is now certified COSC as chronometer), the model features a revised style for its dial, bezel as well as the setting of the crown And the pair of chronograph pushbuttons.
The hour and minute hands are wider and have more Superluminova in them. The faceted hour markers, too, eventually became luminous, so there will be no further problem in reading the clock in the dark.
The 24 hours and 60 minutes of the chronograph sub-brand are still in their usual positions at 6 and 9 o’clock respectively but now, also, a little easier to read and nice to see thanks to their bright red hands . The second subsidiary sub-dial of 3 hours now offers more contrast design.
As you can see from the photos, the fixed bezel is covered with black varnish (it would be nicer to have an Omega-style ceramic insert here, but well …) and still features a tachymeter scale that allows tracking of the speed of An object in motion judging by the time it took to move a kilometer.
