Alliance between The Italian Sea Group and Franck Muller for a new “happy boat”

Luxury, quality and passion for the details, more a pinch of madness. Here is the partnership between Vartan Sirmakes, co-founder and owner of Franck Muller, the Swiss watchmaker, and Giovanni Costantino, former Managing Director Natuzzi, who leads The Italian Sea Group, the Italian nautical holding company with portfolio brands such as Tecnomar and Admiral.
The result is a new line of boats, named replica Franck Muller UK Yachts, the first to combine these apparently distant worlds, and of course an equally new line of watches: presented at Marina di Carrara, the site of the yard (where this alliance was destined for a production area of 7,000 square meters with a lot of workshops and a gallery-museum) will be launched at the end of September at the Monaco Boat Show.

At the boating show of the Principality will be visible the first model of the boat line, the FMY 55, a 16 meter “open” designed by the Turin designer Gianmarco Campanino, a “supercar of the sea” called the latter, built in kevlar -aramat, with curved lines recalling the features of the Swiss Franck Muller UK watches, side-by-side light games, interiors conceived with spacious lounges that make this motorboat – “the most expensive and luxurious in the world among those of the same size,” he said Costanino (the list price should be just under 2 million euros, they would already have been sold on paper six) – a “happy boat”, still an architect’s definition, “fun and elegant”. The range is completed with the 55 foot hardtop (the two versions with a speed of 35/40 knots, depending on the engines), a 68 ‘in double open and hardtop version, a 80′ hardtop and a 105’con pilothouse .

The Franck Muller watch from the Yachting Collection
As for the watches, the yachting collection, sporty with automatic movement, is available in titanium, red gold and stainless steel in the two classic and chronograph versions and is reflected in the distinctive curves of the Franck Muller Yachts, recalling various marine details: the deep blue of the chest , the cordura and rubber strap with white or blue dots, the windy rose that adorns the highly readable Vanguard dial, the shape of the boat recalled to the side of the chest. For Nicholas Rudaz, operating director of the Swiss maison, “a tribute to craftsmanship and the world of the sea”.

Good news for the shipyard headed by Costantino: the organization Organización Mundial de Mercadotecnia awarded him the “Golden Metal for Quality and Service 2015″ prize, which recognizes the excellent quality in business management and product realization.
